HTMT wins Best Performing Global Call Center Provider Award

HTMT today announced that it had won the Best Performing Global Call
Center Provider Award at the prestigious annual Global Services
Awards that was held in New York, USA recently. The Global Services
100, now in its second year, is a tool for buyers of business and
technology services. Judges from Global Services magazine team up
with outsourcing experts at NeoIT, a consulting firm that
specializes in services globalization, to identify and evaluate the
leading service providers located on four continents. The evaluation
is based upon data provided by the service providers and third
parties regarding effective operations, service offerings, client
relationships and human capital. This prestigious award was based on
the quality certifications achieved, consistent meeting of SLAs and
repeat orders. A critical differentiator was the network of global
delivery centers which helps a client route calls to the best
customer representative and balance different time zones. This also
is a sound de-risking strategy. HTMT scored well on this front with
centers in India, Manila, Mauritius, Canada and the U.S with plans
to expand to Eastern Europe on the anvil. HTMT scores well on the
attrition problem that has plagued call centers across the world.
HTMT was amongst the earliest Indian players to focus on developing
its global delivery capability by setting up a center in Manila
through an acquisition in 2003. It has recently acquired
Illinois-based Affina with seven centers in the U.S. and Canada.
Another thrust of HTMT’s strategy has been to develop its
multilingual delivery capabilities. Its Mauritius center leverages
the French-speaking population and the center in El Paso, Texas
provides support in Spanish language.
